Despite the Sapanca in its name, Karmatte Bungalov is on Uzun Sokak in Şirinsulhiye, a neighbourhood of Kartepe district in Kocaeli. The neighbourhood is close to the Kartepe side of the Sapanca Lake shore and the property has lake views. Its timber-built bungalows are set in a garden and each opens onto its own outdoor space.
